Frank Pitchford started working as a freelance bespoke furniture designer + illustrator after qualifying from Manchester Polytechnic School of in Art +Design in  1988,

I work on a completely freelance basis for several mainly small or medium sized family furniture firms who want a distinctive hand drawn + painted presentation style which CAD fails to deliver (I am also very computer literate and do use them as an aid)

I have done artwork for builders , architects, interior designers and the bespoke furniture market , drawn up detailed services diagrams and designed and built furniture --in all I love the design  as well as the construction process
